Ingredients

  • 200g Tofu
  • 2 tbsp Cornflour
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Red Pepper
  • Brocolli
  • Bunch of Scallions
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • Half a red chilli
  • 1/2 tsp MSG
  • 1 tsp chili crisp oil (optional but so good)
  • 130g sushi rice
  • A LOT of oil

Directions

  1. Heat a layer of oil in a deep frying pan (always take care!).
  2. Cut 200g Tofu (pressed of water) into 2cm cubes. Combine 2 tbsp Cornflour, 1 tsp Black Pepper & ** 1 tsp salt** in a bowl and coat each cube in the mixture.
  3. Add the tofu to the oil and fry, turning to brown all sides of the cubes. Remove onto some paper towel and pat off the excess oil.
  4. Chop your veg. Drain off some of the oil from the pan, and in the remaining oil, fry your 1 Red Pepper, Brocolli, Chopped Scallion, Half a red chilli and 3 minced garlic cloves. After a minute or two, add 1/2 tsp MSG and optionally 1tsp chili crisp oil. Mix well and add the tofu cubes back in. Keep mixing.
  5. Serve with Sushi Rice or noodles!
