200g Tofu2 tbsp Cornflour1 tsp Black Pepper1 tsp salt1 Red PepperBrocolliBunch of Scallions3 cloves garlic mincedHalf a red chilli1/2 tsp MSG1 tsp chili crisp oil (optional but so good)130g sushi riceA LOT of oil
Directions
- Heat a layer of oil in a deep frying pan (always take care!).
- Cut 200g Tofu (pressed of water) into 2cm cubes. Combine 2 tbsp Cornflour, 1 tsp Black Pepper & ** 1 tsp salt** in a bowl and coat each cube in the mixture.
- Add the tofu to the oil and fry, turning to brown all sides of the cubes. Remove onto some paper towel and pat off the excess oil.
- Chop your veg. Drain off some of the oil from the pan, and in the remaining oil, fry your 1 Red Pepper, Brocolli, Chopped Scallion, Half a red chilli and 3 minced garlic cloves. After a minute or two, add 1/2 tsp MSG and optionally 1tsp chili crisp oil. Mix well and add the tofu cubes back in. Keep mixing.
- Serve with Sushi Rice or noodles!
